Beyond School Avoidance Coalition
Beyond School Avoidance: An East Toronto Coalition is a standing collaboration of hospital staff and mental health service providers who meet monthly to review and discuss cases of school-avoidant youth in the East Toronto area.
School staff can apply to present a case to the committee at one of the coalition’s monthly meetings. The committee makes recommendations to coordinate service provision.
For school staff: Accessing the coalition
School staff can request to present a case to the coalition at a monthly meeting. The coalition makes recommendations to coordinate service provision. Please note that this coalition provides consultation but does not provide direct service.
Meetings take place on the first Tuesday of every month virtually at 9:30 a.m. Families do not attend case presentations.
If you are interested in presenting a case, please email irene.passos-gold@tcdsb.org.
