Operated by the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, Amélie House is a long-term transitional housing facility for women who have experienced difficulty in maintaining adequate permanent housing. We provide safe accommodation, nutritious meals, informal counselling, crisis intervention, referrals, advocacy and basic necessities to the women in our care.

Seniors Services and Long-Term Care is responsible for service planning and strategic integration of City services for seniors. Services provided include community support programs such as adult day programs, supportive housing services, tenancy supports and homemakers and nurses services for vulnerable individuals who reside in the community and 10 directly operated long-term care homes.

Bellwoods is a charitable, not-for-profit organization providing community-based, client-directed support services for the physically disabled; client- and family-centred care; independent living education programs; and accessible, affordable housing. Services are provided to individuals 16 years of age or older with physical support needs, seniors, and those at risk of homelessness.

We provide accessible, community-governed, inter-professional primary health care services, including health promotion, illness prevention and treatment, chronic disease management, and individual and community capacity building. We also offer a range of community wellness programing.
